The Deleterious Effects of Irradiated Yeast-Fed and Grain-Fed Cattle Vs. Raw and Grass-Fed Cattle Milk
While researching a question on Pottenger's Cats, we noted that his research on the effects of heat processed foods included statistics and comments that indicated, to Dr. Pottenger's surprise, that raw metabolized vitamin D milk (from cattle fed grain with irradiated yeast) severely damaged the cats, especially males, versus raw milk and milk from grass-fed cattle. The selected paragraphs from his work illustrate, as Dr. Pottenger so well states, "the alteration of the physiocochemical state of the foods may be all that is necessary to render them imperfect foods for the maintenance of health."
