Toxicity In The Home
According to the American Lung Association, Americans spend 90 percent of their time inside, and more than half that time is at home. Our preoccupation with outdoor air pollution seems misplaced in the face of this fact and data collected by the EPA that found that common, toxic air pollutants produced by household products pose a greater hazard (sometimes 70 times greater) in the average home than in the air around the factories where they were produced.
