Frozen Grape Delight
Dr. George Meinig, author of Root-Canal Cover-Up and long-time board member, shared this delicious dessert suggestion over 40 years ago:
Wash, dry, and freeze seedless grapes individually on a baking sheet, then scoop the frozen grapes into a container for the freezer.
To serve; place frozen grapes in a stemmed champagne glass or other attractive dessert dish and allow to semi-thaw. This is most delicious and refreshing, with a minimum of preparation. Gina Larsen, Cafeteria Manager of the famed Helix High School (CA) nutritional lunch program, suggested adding scissor-snipped mint leaves to the grapes before freezing.
