Book Review: Alive in 5 Raw Gourmet Meals in Five Minutes

Angela Elliott’s book provides wonderful, healthful and delicious recipes as well as a one-week sample menu to get any novice started. I found the recipes take anywhere between 10 - 15 minutes if everything is prepared in advance (almond milk, soaked nuts) or 20-30 minutes if you have not done these things in advance. Many of these recipes serve as either healthful snacks or complete meals, and are presentable to bring to any party or gathering. Her notes on each recipe and comparisons to traditional recipes help explain what the raw food version will taste like.
