High Energy Snacks for Athletes: Marinated Fish

Pickled herring, marinated salmon (gravloks), ceviche, and other marinated fish dishes provide easily assimilated, nutritious snacks for athletes. Marinated salmon may be used in a sandwich made with sprouted or sourdough whole grain bread and butter.
