Study Finds Optimists Live Longer and Healthier From Reuters.com [“Health Vectors”] Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh who conducted a study regarding rates of death and chronic health conditions among optimistic and pessimistic people have concluded that the optimists live both longer and healthier lives. The “Women’s Health Initiative” study followed over 100,000 women aged 50 and over since 1994.
