Sweden bans mandatory vaccination unlike Italy

On May 10, 2017, the Swedish parliament rejected seven motions that would have paved the way for both additional vaccinations and forced vaccination, after citizens submitted correspondence and called parliament in protest. One proposal for mandatory MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) vaccination had been put forward by Sofia Arkelsten and Jesper Skalberg Karlsson, MPs from the Moderate Party.
