Weston A.V. Price – Truly a “Great” Uncle Chapter 3: The Eagle Rock Homestead, Life and Family)
Weston was born at home on the Eagle Rock Farm on the 6th of September 1870, the ninth child of a family of an even dozen. His sister, Minetta, the eldest in the family, now 14, had been "assisting" her mother in these childbirth situations since she was six years old and very likely was present at Weston's arrival. It was the normal practice for babies to be birthed at home often with only a midwife in charge. Occasionally a doctor would be present if available when sent for and if he could get there in time.
