Sautéed Red Cabbage and Capers

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or crushed
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 3 ounces red cabbage, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon wedge

Directions

Freshly ground black pepper Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and capers and cook for 1 minute. Add the cabbage and sauté for another minute. Squeeze in the lemon juice and cook until the cabbage starts to brown on the edges slightly, 2 to 4 minutes. Season with black pepper.
