Basic Salad Dressing
Salad Dressings
Store-bought, bottled dressings are inappropriate for a healthy salad, as they are often loaded with sugar, preservatives, colorings, and hydrogenated oils. Nutritious dressings are delicious and easy to make.
Basic Dressing
- 1tsp. Dijon-type mustard
- 2 tbsp. + 1 tsp. of raw wine vinegar
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. unrefined flax oil (optional)
- Mix all ingredients well, and serve. You can use this recipe as a base for other dressings using garlic, other herbs, or raw cheeses.
