The findings and photographs resulting from the worldwide research of Weston A. Price, DDS, illustrate in an unforgettable way the physical degeneration that occurs when human groups abandon their nourishing traditional diets in favor of modern convenience foods. This research was conducted over almost a decade, beginning in the early 1930s, and involved a single generation of people in 14 countries.
Francis M. Pottenger, Jr., MD, did a similar study on 900 cats over a ten-year period beginning in 1932. Because cats have a much shorter lifespan than humans, he was able to show what happens over three generations when cats are given cooked meat or heat-processed milk instead of their natural raw diets: physical deterioration increases with each generation when the proper foods are not consumed.
