In The News, Fall 2018: Toxic Flame Retardants in Children’s Car Seats

Scientists from Indiana University found novel or traditional hazardous flame retardant chemicals in 15 of 18 newly manufactured children’s car seats made in China, Canada, or the US. The study, conducted in conjunction with The Ecology Center, a nonprofit organization in Michigan, raises renewed concerns about the safety of car seats.
