Is shrimp bad for my cholesterol? My doctor has me on Lipitor.

My doctor has me on Lipitor for my cholesterol and my wife keeps making meals for me with shrimp. I ask her if she’s trying to kill me since I heard that shrimp contains a lot of cholesterol and isn’t good for me. She said she’s never heard that before and I now forget where I heard it. Is shrimp bad for people trying to keep their cholesterol in check?

Your question opens up a huge can of worms which are covered in lies, graft and greed. Total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol numbers are irrelevant and have no relationship to heart disease...
