Are there any supplements to help battle morning sickness from pregnancy?
Question
What do you recommend to combat morning sickness from pregnancy? How can someone take supplements if they are sick all day, every day? I cannot find the supplement you recommended – what is the name of the product/mftr?
Answer
The supplements which have been most beneficial to the largest number of patients suffering from morning sickness include ginger, vitamins C and K1, fish oils and vitamin B6.
These supplements should ONLY be taken along with a high-potency prenatal multivitamin, such as the the multivitamin made by Super Nutrition, so as not to cause a vitamin B imbalance.
I most often work to prevent morning sickness by putting my patients on a high-quality diet from pre-conception through delivery and breast feeding.
The supplement you are referring to is MTHFR as it is manufactured by Thorne under the full name 5-MTHFR.
